DESCRIPTION:Scholar and author Elizabeth Redwine visits the Shillelagh Club at the invitation\nof the History committee. Elizabeth plans a talk on the Abbey Theatre of Dublin.\nFocus will be given to the important woman who made it renowned- Lady\nGregory\, Maud Gonne\, Sara Allgood and more. Works by W.B. Yeats\, George\nBernard Shaw\, J.M. Synge and others were performed in the theatre’s formative\nyears. \nElizabeth will discuss her other published work on Irish themes.\nEnjoy a spirited discussion led by Andrew Joyce – member of FSOS and the\nhistory committee.
