Scholar and author Elizabeth Redwine visits the Shillelagh Club at the invitation
of the History committee. Elizabeth plans a talk on the Abbey Theatre of Dublin.
Focus will be given to the important woman who made it renowned- Lady
Gregory, Maud Gonne, Sara Allgood and more. Works by W.B. Yeats, George
Bernard Shaw, J.M. Synge and others were performed in the theatre’s formative
years.
Elizabeth will discuss her other published work on Irish themes.
